“WOOFER” DAVIDIAN – PARTNER

V.A. Davidian III, better known as “Woofer,” practices in the areas of family law, criminal/traffic law and general civil litigation.  He is an experienced litigator with both jury and non-jury trial experience.  Woofer represents a variety of clients in both district and superior courts.  A Raleigh native, Woofer returned home in December 2002 after serving three years with the United States Navy as a Lieutenant/Attorney in the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps.  He served as a both a trial defense attorney and legal assistance attorney.  Serving in both capacities, he gained valuable experience providing guidance to service members in family law issues as well as trial representation to service members facing court-martial and other disciplinary charges.  Additionally, as a result of September 11, 2001, Woofer helped coordinate the services for activating reservists in support of Operation Enduring Freedom throughout the entire northeast region.  Woofer continues to help support the men and women serving our country by serving on the North Carolina Military Legal Assistance Committee and the American Bar Association’s Military Committee.

Woofer joined our firm in January 2003 when he returned from his service with the Navy.  Woofer became a partner and shareholder in January 2005 when the name of the firm changed to Sandlin & Davidian, PA.  Woofer is a very concerned and compassionate attorney who always takes care of his clients in very emotionally trying times.

Woofer received his B.A. in Political Science and minor in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991 and his J.D. from Regent University School of Law in 1999, where he was a member of the National Trial Team.  He also had the honor of serving as a summer intern for Honorable Burley B. Mitchell, Jr., Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court.
