MANDY MCGRAW – PARALEGAL
Mandy is a hard-working, dedicated individual. She is the second oldest of five children in a blended family, having two brothers and two sisters. She grew up in a small town in northeastern Oklahoma, graduating high school in 1994. She attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma from August 1995 through May 1999, graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Paralegal Option. During her college career, she worked close to forty hours each week between two jobs while carrying twelve to fifteen hours each semester and six hours each summer. The paralegal program reopened the Legal Assistants Association during her last semester and she served as Secretary. She is the first in her family to graduate with a degree.
Mandy met her husband, Kelly, in college in 1996. In July 1999, they were married and in August of that year, they moved to North Carolina. In December 2005, their baby girl, Ashlynn, was born. They have really enjoyed watching her grow and learn new things. Their second baby (another girl) is due in late June 2008.
In September 1999, Mandy began working with a small family law firm in Raleigh as a legal assistant and court runner and was promoted into a paralegal position in May 2000 when she began working with Deborah Sandlin. When Debbie left to open her own firm, Mandy was by her side. Mandy currently works with each attorney at Sandlin & Davidian, assisting with family law cases, appeals and adoptions.
