LISA KAMARCHIK – ASSOCIATE
Lisa is service-oriented and strives to put each client’s needs first. She began working in the legal field while she was still in high school, when she became the file clerk for a medium-sized Salisbury law firm specializing in personal injury. She continued working in various firms throughout her undergraduate and postgraduate education. Lisa graduated from Illinois State University in 2000 with a B.S. in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice.
Prior to joining Sandlin & Davidian, PA as a new attorney, Lisa worked as a paralegal at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC for six years in the Insurance, Government & Tort Litigation practice group, where she gained insight into insurance defense, government law, medical malpractice, personal injury, and mass tort litigation. She obtained her J.D. degree from North Carolina Central University’s School of Law evening program in 2006 while working at Womble Carlyle full-time. After studying family law in her fourth year, Lisa knew she wanted to practice family law exclusively and is elated to be practicing with the experienced and professional attorneys at Sandlin & Davidian. She loves legal research and writing, and one of her articles dealing with the admissibility of expert testimony has been published in the North Carolina Central University Law Review. She particularly enjoys being a part of the established appellate practice of this firm.
Lisa and her husband, who practices intellectual property law, are the proud parents of four four-legged children: Carolyna, Jeeves, Wooster, and Gussi.
